The Pro Dryer G2 Cleaning Guide

Because great hair starts with a clean tool.

WHY CLEANING MATTERS
Your KALEO Pro Hair Dryer is designed for top performance. However, like any frequently used tool, it needs some care to keep working its magic. Regular cleaning protects the motor, maintains airflow, and ensures optimal shine and speed. Neglecting this step can lead to reduced airflow, longer drying times, and potential damage to internal components.

 

WHEN TO CLEAN

Salon stylists: Activate the self-clean function daily. 

At-home stylists: Clean once a week for best results. And every 7 days, give your filter some attention too.

 

STEP-BY-STEP: SELF-CLEAN MODE
Before you start: Ensure the dryer is TURNED OFF.

  1. Remove the back cover & microfilter
    Gently twist or pull (depending on the model) to remove the back panel.
  2. Hold the Cold Shot / Cleaning Mode button
    Press and hold it down.
  3. Switch the dryer ON
    Keep holding the button until the blue indicator light comes on. The airflow will reverse automatically.
  4. Let it run
    Cleaning mode takes under a minute. When the cleaning mode is complete the dryer will automatically shut down and the indicator light will flash blue and red.
  5. Unplug the dryer
    That’s it! Your dryer is refreshed and ready to blow.

 

WEEKLY MAINTENANCE: FILTER CARE
To prevent build-up of dust, hairspray, or tiny particles:

  • Turn off and unplug the dryer.
  • Remove the back cover and micro filter.
  • Wipe the back cover and the inside & outside of the microfilter with a dry microfiber cloth or small brush.
  • Brush away any lint or dust from the front outlet.

This takes less than 2 minutes and can dramatically extend the life of your dryer.
